The Lit List for June is here with over 80 calls for submissions to literary competitions, and journals, writer/artist residencies, mentoring, and funding opportunities, all with deadlines on or before 1st July.

If you are looking to find a home for your poetry, flash/fiction, creative nonfiction or visual art/photography, the June Lit List contains:

  • 43 literary journal and publishing opportunities;

  • 26 literary competitions;

  • 2 funding resources;

  • 4 artist residencies, and

  • 1 festival gig.

There are also 17 themed submission calls looking for work that focuses on Surprise, Gold, Fathers, Borderlands, Song, Unravelling and more.

Angela T. Carr is a neurodivergent poet, creative writing facilitator and mentor, and recipient of an Arts Council Literature Award 2021. Winner of The Poetry Business 2018 Laureate's Prize, her work has been placed or shortlisted in over 40 national and international competitions, selected by renowned poets like Liz Berry, Daljit Nagra, Wendy Cope, Rafeef Ziadah, John F. Deane, Andrew McMillan, Rebecca Perry, Doireann Ní Ghríofa, and former UK Poet Laureate, Dame Professor Carol Ann Duffy.

Originally from Glasgow, she lives in Dublin.
